Prayer Requests

If you would like to request a prayer for yourself or someone you know, please e-mail us with "prayer request" in the subject line and we will post that request here. If you would like to send a picture to go along with the request, it will be posted in the left column. Please have all photos pre-cropped and sized to no more than four inches wide. There is no set length of time that a prayer request will be posted. If the page gets too full, we will generally pull the oldest prayer requests.

	My doctor just told me today that I have malignant cancer that's spread so far that I can't beat it. That's what caused my ulcers that have been giving me o much discomfort lately. I'm supposed to die within 2 years at most. My digestive system, lymph nodes and lver are all overtaken and only chemotherapy has any chance of stopping this. My doctor said it couldn't be stopped and it's very likely that I won't even live 15 years, but I'm strong. Whatever strength I don't lose in 6 months of chemotherapy, may be able to beat the remainders of the cancer out. Others have beaten this kind of situation and I'm the most likely to be able to beat it, but I must be prepared for a long, painful fight. In Solidarity, Mike
	7/30/07 - I would like to request prayer for my grandmother, Hendrike Lorenzin. Last night she was rushed to hospital with a burst blood vessel on her brain, and is currently unconscious. The doctors say there is little chance of her waking up, however, I believe in the miracle of prayer and the miracles of the human body, so please pray for her, that she will either recover from this, or that her journey onward is safe and free from trouble. 	5/31/07 - I am requesting prayers for my husband, Jeremy Camp to find clarity of mind and a renewed spirit. He has always been a wonderful man but this past October had an affair and expressed many behaviors kind of like a "mid-life crisis". He says that he loves me but also says that he loves the 22 year old girl he had the affair with (co-worker)…but at the same time doesn't feel that he wants to be with either of us? He says he walks around everyday feeling empty, alone and unhappy. He has shut himself off from any spiritual or family support. He says that he keeps all his pain inside and that is how he deals with it. We have a 4 year old son who was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome type 3 who has been in and out of the hospital for most of his life (please also pray for my son Braden Camp). Our lives for the last 4 years have been full of pain and suffering due watching our son go through surgery after surgery. However, recently I have come to view his pain as a lesson about unconditional love. Braden was entrusted to us…a gift. I feel that my husband has not embraced this gift that our son could have brought him and although I know he loves Braden dearly, it seems that he resents him at the same time. Jeremy and I have been married almost 14 years. I pray for my husband to come to terms with his fears and to embrace us with joy and excitement. I pray for healing. Thank you for your prayers. 	5/7/07 - Please pray for Fleur Hamil's complete cure from cancer and that it never return. Please pray that she be released from all demonic interference and be free from fear so she can become a beautiful sky-dancer. Please pray that her body be restored to full-vibrant health.
	5/5/07 - For Dana and Tara's love to be given a second chance and for reconciation and reunification. For Dana's heart to soften toward Tara and for Dana and Tara to both forgive each other and for the peace and patience. Thank you for Praying. Tara Holmes
	4/10/07 - This prayer request goes out for Dan, a friendship that I had to let go. I'm sorry that I was part of the cause your suffering. I never realized I was capable of hurting anyone that badly and I'm sorry. I will always keep you in my prayers and hope that you'll emerge from your pain soon. I hope you can forgive me someday. Jen
	4/6/07 - Timothy C. Andersen recently died of cancer, survived by siblings, children, nieces, nephews, and friends. He lived a rich and full life, with a healthy appreciation for the beauty of nature and the warmth and love of his family and friends. 	3-21-07 - Prayer request for Sophia Harris - Born: 07/26/1959 Pray: That she will be able to go back to USA to get together with her family. Sophia Harris is now in Taipei, Taiwan. Doctor claimed she has lung cancer and she is now staying in the National Taiwan Hospital for medical treatment. She is badly sick right now. Her lung is very weak and has fluid in the lung. She is only 48 years old, and she has two children living in the USA. She hopes she can recover and go back to USA to see her children. Please kindly pray for her so that she can go back to USA to get together with her family. Her brother in law, Lian-Juh Shih
	3/15/07 - Please pray for Jeri Barr. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and is undergoing chemotherapy. I ask all the sangha to pray for her without delay, as her health is at a critical juncture. Jeri is 50 years old, lives in Austin, Texas, and is much beloved by her husband, Don, her two daughters, Ashley and Stephanie, and her many family members and friends. Jeri is a kind and loving soul who does much in the community to help others, especially children. We would like to have her around for a while longer. 	3/8/07 - Please pray for Darrin and his two girls, Lacey and Ashleigh. I am very concerned since he finds it difficult to pursue his own happiness and instead he is living a life of darkness and discomfort. Please pray that he will realize that love, happiness, and light is possible and are indeed his responsbility to claim, especially if he wants to be a good father and role model for his girls. Please pray that he will realize that what he is doing now is not setting a good example as he shows his girls only how to live a lie. Thank you for your kind prayers. Peace and harmony, Natalie
