Your prayers for Cathy Dellorto are much appreciated.  Cathy is suffering from a brain infection, possibly due to an infected cat bite.  Cathy is a veterinarian - she has worked very hard and has done many courageous things to help alleviate the suffering of our four- legged brethren.

Friday Feb 3 Steve J. Johnson tried to commit suicide at the men's penitentiary in Salem Oregon by cutting his throat.  He was very, very close to successful and cut a main artery and actually was very barely brought back after many minutes without oxygen to the brain.  It was not his first attempt. Please pray for him and the other inmates at the facility that were impacted.

Please add your prayers for a young 24-yr-old Santa Fe woman, Tessa Horan, recently killed by a shark attack while in the Peace Corps in Tonga.  Her mother is a Buddhist practitioner and all prayers are welcome for Tessa and her family. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc in my neck which has become quite painful and affects my neck, shoulder, and arm........I've not been able to work for over a month and so far all the treatments and medications I've taken have had limited effect.  It's difficult when you're in a lot of pain to keep a mind that is "tame".  Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts.

I would like to add my son to the prayer request. Silas suffers from early onset Bipolar.

Please pray for Nathan, who committed suicide on January 21st.

My name is Annette Dugan and I am a Dharma student in Los Angeles. I am 6 1/2 months pregnant and my son, Max Vadset, has been diagnosed with a heart defect called double outlet right ventricle. He will be born on April 17th at UCLA and we have been told that he may require multiple surgeries after he is born. I have been doing Tara and Medicine Buddha practices regularly.  Please send prayers for Max's safe birth and healing.
